This year's study is based on 8,478 respondents who registered their new vehicle between February 2014 and April 2015. The study was fielded from February through April 2016.
Participants had to rate their experience at their dealership based on five measures; service quality, service initiation, service advisor, vehicle pick-up, and service facility. Other important areas for consideration were the dealership welcome, the collection process and the cost transparency.
With an 18-point improvement on their 2015 score, Mercedes-Benz sat in prime position ahead of Land Rover and Audi.
